PROCTORING
Available Training Modules
A number of Training Modules are now available. We strongly encourage you to the some time going through these modules as they contain everything you need to know to prepare for the Spring 2014 PARCC Field Test.
The Test Coordinator Manuals (TCM) for both Computer-Based and Paper-Based Testing can be found at http://PARCC.Pearson.com/Support under the Manuals and Documents tab. All schools participating in the Field Test will receive one printed copy of the Test Coordinator Manual.
The TCMs also contain a checklist that summarizes the tasks that must be completed before, during, and after test administration.

FAQs
We have 3 or 4 testing rooms we will be using - is it possible for one Test Admin./Proctor be logged into a computer in each room at the same time? Yes, that is how the system was setup. Please make sure each individual Test Administrator/Proctor of the test is logged into PearsonAccess for their Test Session. They will monitor the students sessions from that website. This is where they will need to resume the student when they exit from the test.
Does each student that requires Read Aloud need to be in a separate room with a separate test examiner? Read Alouds in separate rooms actually depends upon the way the IEP is written.
It is possible to combine the read aloud students in one room if they all have similar modifications/accommodations for the assessment - always being sure that the "separate room" and smaller size of the group is adhered to as well. The district should consult their special education person to determine the most appropriate grouping of students.
Is it possible to use headphones and have the computer read aloud - text to speech?
For the Infrastructure Trial the accommodations have been restricted.
When in the training center to set up the test session for Infrastructure Trial for the student who requires Read Aloud - the box for Read Aloud by Test Examiner is greyed out and will not allow me to switch it to yes. Why? I believe the Infrastructure Trial will not have accommodations available. I will verify this information for you.
